Hi everyone! This is my 5 minute makeup routine. Lately this has been my go-to makeup because I've been so busy with, well, life! Now if someone could show me a 5 minute hair routine, I'd be golden. maybe I'll figure one out and that will be my next tutorial!
I don't use too many products in this routine. It's really simple and neutral and anyone can do it. There is seriously zero skill involved!
This look makes me feel pretty, fresh, put together and ready to face my days obstacles with confidence. Keep watching so you can see how it's done!
My L'Oreal True Match blush in Innocent Flush is really old and I couldn't find a link, so this shade is similar but, with more of a blue/rose undertone.
I'm going to do more product reviews and product testing. If there is a product you were curious about, let me know in the comments. I LOVE product testing and trying!!!
Okay, so I know it's been way too long. I'm sorry! School just started for the boys. We got a Kindergartener, and he is loving it! Max just entered 2nd grade and the change to his new school is hard but getting better, yay! Plus, we had the flu, good times!!!
But enough about me and my first world problems, how are you? And let's get into my favorite dupes under or around $10!!!
I love saving money! My boys basically eat our money. Our grocery bill is GIANT and it is only getting bigger. Max's favorite place to eat is a sushi place! He eats his weight in salmon. But, my little problem is, I love makeup and beauty products.. Some may say it's an addiction, I call it a tax right off. So, if I can save a little $$$ by using the cheaper version, why not? I'm no makeup snob.
So this kind of long video is a run down of some of my favorite makeup dupes. A Dupe is an inexpensive product that is identical or close to identical to a higher end product. You get he same look for a fraction of the price. Win, win situation if you ask me!
So watch on to see my favorite dupes!
I could't find a link to the Salon Perfect Brow Pomade, but this NYX brow pomade is a great dupe, also.
About a week ago I was at Walmart doing my normal weekly grocery shopping, and as usual, I did a quick walk through of the makeup aisle (and I rarely buy anything, wink, wink. Alan will read this). This cute little guy caught my eye. I usually like Wet n Wild's shadows and it was pretty cheap. So, he was mine.
In my video I mention the palette has eight shadows, but it actually has ten! Wet n Wild is really stepping up their game, lately. Most of the makeup I purchase by them has been a thumbs up. So, to hear my full review, watch on! Oh, and the big guy (Alan) makes a couple cameos.
